Being programmable, one can now apply charging algorithms that will control thermal runaways and excessive gassing when a higher charging rate is used.

Totally independant of incoming AC voltage fluctuations, its charging output is always stable, ensuring a properly charged battery every time. There is no longer a need to charge batteries at a certain time of day! A built-in backlit liquid crystal display allows users to determine the exact charging voltage, current and power, eliminating estimations and guesswork.

The programmable charger can be used manually or coupled with software which is provided as a package. The RS232 interface and included software allows the user to customize up to 99 different charging profiles for any type of battery while monitoring and logging the progress. Reports with voltage, current and even Ampere-hour values can also be generated at the end of each profile, making it an excellent Research & Development tool.
